Hi Everyone...My name is Gemma Flavin. Welcome to my blog!

Hi everyone! My first name is pronounced like the word "gem" and actually means "shining gem" in Italian. I have been an Art Educator for the past twenty-five years, but, have recently decided to try my hand at painting and selling my artwork on etsy. I am married to Neil and have a beautiful fourteen year old daughter named Sophia. I'm inspired by the ocean and the colors that surround me in beautiful Gloucester, MA.

I thought I'd try the world of blogging.... hopefully it will be a good way to get some of my artwork posted online for all to see.
